"Through my work on TIGER MAGAZINE (a TV show I contributed to in high school), I was somehow able to talk my mother into buying me a Panasonic CamCorder videocamera in '88.  I had a pretty good group of collaborators from the start and we all just constantly made videos together.  I probably 'logged-in' shooting over 300 hours of footage with them.  I'd always shoot us sitting around or occasionally we'd come up with a comedy sketch idea to do (in my basement room), these were the early days of my life as a video artist." - Jim Pruy
